I'm sure you can tell, but it's not 1/1.

※I have no interest in 1/1 Ferraris.

Of course, I don't have the money to get one.

It's a 1/32 SlotCar.

1971/Ferrari-512M

To me, it's not the beautiful 512S, but the slightly ugly 512M.

It's been announced that it will be released by "Slot. it" soon.

Speaking of Slot. it, it's a latecomer to this kind of manufacturer, but

it's performance and construction are excellent, so I'm even more excited.

When I say performance, I don't just mean competing for speed, but I like slot cars that let you enjoy the atmosphere of the good old days of circuits and the construction of the cars.

But,

It's still a race, so the image of the operation (controller) at hand to control the car is just like a real car.

*I won't go into detail here...

By the way, controllers have been digitized recently

When entering a corner,

you can choose to go in or out with the controller in your hand. Amazing

Is this kind of toy a national characteristic? Italy, Spain, America, etc. are popular.

Inevitably, there are no Japanese products. Lol

1/32 Slot Car Racing

Personally, I think it's a "palm-sized motorsport",

but sadly, it's still a minor pastime in Japan.

The point is, "The old guys over there take toys seriously."

This is probably the big difference between them and Japanese old guys.

Old guys who like toys gather every night.

They enjoy racing seriously while having a drink!

It seems like there are such wonderful club courses all over the place. I'm jealous.

The image below is a club course I made 17 years ago on the 2nd floor of Kobe Rokko Island River Mall.

When I made this, I put about 1.5 million yen of my own money into it, but since the purpose was to create a "club course for friends to gather together" and not for commercial purposes, I was unable to secure the rent, utilities, and maintenance costs, and unfortunately it closed after about 5 years. From my experience, this kind of thing is like some car clubs. 5 years seems to be the norm. So... If you have the same hobby for more than 10 years, it seems like you can continue even if it's just a little bit, so it's absolutely essential to have "a group of slightly strange old guys" who can continue for a long time. Of course, you need money. Looking at it, an old guy who has been driving an air-cooled Porsche for more than 15 years... doesn't waver! He's a little strange after all. I'm secretly planning to "relax again someday, somewhere." My dream is

to recreate the city course and streetscape of the Targa Florio in Italy.

PS

This is a recent car,

but it's a set from my favorite Team Brumos, so I'm a bit interested.

That's it.
